- Hello, I was born in a little house on the prairie in NW Sherman Co. Nebraska during the Dirty Thirties. My first stage appearance was at the age of four. Music has always been a part of my Life. I have played and sang in numerous Bands since high school days. I do a wide variety of Old Songs and Ballads, Gospel, as well as original Songs and Poems The Old West Days, Cowboy Poetry and Music Gathering at Valentine NE. has become an Important stop on my schedule. I have hosted and perform in several sessions at the Montana State Poetry Gathering in Lewistown, Montana, Also, The Arizona Cowboy Music Symposium Tucson, AZ. The above photo(by Adam Tanner of Reuters News) is one of my greatest moments. It was taken, in Lewistown MT, during an interview, for a doctumentary on Cowboy Poetry, and shown round the World.
