Idaho Cowboy Poetry Gatherings, Bear Lake & Lost and Lava

Counting travel time.It took about 3 weeks of my Summer.. It was my 2nd trip to Bear Lake (Montpelier) and the 1st to Lost and Lava (Shoshone) There are pictures on my FB page . and Tumbleweed entertainer on FB

Aug 19-20-21, Vernon CO. Olde Time Saturday has turned into a 3 day affair. Entertained the crowd on the park PA off and on all day Sat.

One of the best "small town" and I mean small town celebrations I have ever been to. Parade, Horse Shoe Pitching. Bar-B-Q Chuck Wagon Breakfasts, and much more

Wyomong

Had a great time in Wyoming;

July 25th - 1st of Aug , firet 2 days at the Virginian Hotel in Medicine Bow and then 3 days in Jeffrey City , at the Split Rock Bar and Cafe for the Twig and Berry Festival. Jeffrey city was a little Cowtown then a booming Mining town for a few yrs, Now it's back to becoming a little Cowtown again.. somewhere North of Rawlins and somewhere South of Lander and somewhere SW of Casper,and Make sure your Gas tank is full if you are going there!!!!

Lost n Lava Poetry Gathering

It's a long way down the road (pun intended) but I signed up for Idaho in September (Shoshone, ID ) Hate too but I am going to forgo some of my regular and go to some new gathering and take on a couple of fairs and thrasher shows,this summer.

Texas trip follow up

Was a good a good gathering. performers from Missouri to Nevada.

Got into a heavy fog in W Texas. Had to "hunker down" in Elkhart, KS from midnight till morning because of severe icing conditions.

Texas Crossroads Gathering

Headed to the CrossRoads Gathering at Van Horn, TX Feb 4,5,6 & 7. will be gone 8-9 days coming & going all together. A good line up on the schedule.
