Computer Hosting problems

1. Web hosting problems seems to be Ironed out ..  Making some changes in my web site ...    Beginning to set up a Summer schedule... Going to Hit some new places and drop a few of the ones farther from home..

Was having Computer troubles and was  into my web hosting site so much they thought it was somebody trying to hack it, So they locked it for 60 days. Couldnt have that so I changed Hosting Companies.. the new one said they would call me before any thing like that happened with them. so am still ironing out the pages on the new site..

 It was only 15 for me but they made me feel like one of them....

Idaho Cowboy Poetry Gatherings, Bear Lake & Lost and Lava

Counting travel time.It took about 3 weeks of my Summer.. It was my 2nd trip to Bear Lake (Montpelier) and the 1st to Lost and Lava (Shoshone) There are pictures on my FB page . and Tumbleweed entertainer on FB

Aug 19-20-21, Vernon CO. Olde Time Saturday has turned into a 3 day affair. Entertained the crowd on the park PA off and on all day Sat.

One of the best "small town" and I mean small town celebrations I have ever been to. Parade, Horse Shoe Pitching. Bar-B-Q Chuck Wagon Breakfasts, and much more

Wyomong

Had a great time in Wyoming;

July 25th - 1st of Aug , firet 2 days at the Virginian Hotel in Medicine Bow and then 3 days in Jeffrey City , at the Split Rock Bar and Cafe for the Twig and Berry Festival. Jeffrey city was a little Cowtown then a booming Mining town for a few yrs, Now it's back to becoming a little Cowtown again.. somewhere North of Rawlins and somewhere South of Lander and somewhere SW of Casper,and Make sure your Gas tank is full if you are going there!!!!

Lost n Lava Poetry Gathering

It's a long way down the road (pun intended) but I signed up for Idaho in September (Shoshone, ID ) Hate too but I am going to forgo some of my regular and go to some new gathering and take on a couple of fairs and thrasher shows,this summer.

Texas trip follow up

Was a good a good gathering. performers from Missouri to Nevada.

Got into a heavy fog in W Texas. Had to "hunker down" in Elkhart, KS from midnight till morning because of severe icing conditions.

Texas Crossroads Gathering

Headed to the CrossRoads Gathering at Van Horn, TX Feb 4,5,6 & 7. will be gone 8-9 days coming & going all together. A good line up on the schedule.

Texas Crossroads follow up

The Gathering was to say the least a great experience.  

Ralph's Back Porch Radio(internet) streamed the whole thing live, both audio and video. 

There were over a dozen countries and two dosen states heard from by Email during the show.

Also Friday evening after the PM show and before The Bar-B-Q,  I was entertaining the Kids and some not so young kids for about an hour. I was Videoed and the video made available on their web site.

Texas Crossroads Cowboy Poetry Gathering

I will be leaving Wed. Feb. 25th for 10 days to Texas, to attend the gathering in Van Horn, Texas.
Gathering is the 27th & 28th of Feb.

 I went to Moorcroft, WY in mid November to a benefit Gathering for The West Texas Trail Museum.   I had a real good outing . Short but fierce Blizzard while I was there

Olde Tyme Saturday

We are happy to be chosen to perform at Vernon, CO.'s Olde Tyme Saturday on Aug 16th.
It is a fun day Beginning with a Chuckwagon Breakfast, and thngs to do for everyone.

The Annual Tumbleweed Roundup Will be Aug. 9th 2008 At the Cheyenne Theater
featuring local Poets and Musicians.
It is an Open Mike forum both in the PM and Evening performances.

Old West Days - Valentine, NE

I recently participated in the Old West Days gathering in Valentine, NE

Several said it was the best outing I have had up there.

Must have been the new Guitar I won at the Haigler Blue Grass show.

Will be at the Arizona Cowboy Music Symposium the 2nd week end in Nov.
